Transformers 2 - More than meets the eye

So I saw the new movie considering the UK gets the movie 6 days before states >:} and I gotta say, this movie surpassed the first one in terms of comedy (watch out for 50 million sexual innuendos) and action.

You wouldn’t believe how much stuff is going on screen at once, it was really hard to keep up, and if you blinked, you’d probably miss it, it was going that fast.

Now let me say this clearly, this wasn’t a master class of a movie, it was a very damn good summer movie.

I’d recommend it for popcorn OMOMOM fun.

This is good news, because I loved the first one. I’m a total action movie whore. It didn’t hurt that I have nostalgic feelings from my youth though. I even have the old school transformers cartoon movie on dvd. I currently have a ginormous bumblebee as my desktop wallpaper.

I didn’t like the first one very much, but it was fun while it lasted. One of those rollercoaster films.

Also Land of the Lost was kickin’ rad and I seem to be one of about ten people that actually loved it for it’s nostalgic resurrection/humor.

Haven’t seen it. When I first saw the trailers I thought Land of the Lost and Year One were the same movie. I was like :jizz:. I don’t typically like Ferrell but I think he and Jack Black would be great together.

if you didn’t like the original 1970’s TV Show (not th shit 90’s one), you’ll probably hate this movie. I went to see it the opening day and the week afterward because it was so good.

Well ferrel actually didn’t suck at all, which is unusual.

God, me and my friends were going to see Star Trek, but since they have already seen it (I haven’t), now they want to see THIS garbage!
Now I have to sit through an hour and a half of explosions and masturbation jokes instead of an hour and a half of explosions and Dr. McCoy!

It’s probably relevant because you find poorly drawn characters with oversized hair/weapons/egos running around with lust for each other and fighting crime and doing other random shit more tasteful than a bunch of kickass fucking bots that fucking kill shit and fucking blow shit up and fucking transform from a truck into a SIX STORY FUCKING KILLING MACHINE that is animated and designed so impeccably that it would figuratively and literally grab your Naruto shit and break it in half.

Transformers are FUCKING AWESOME.

Yeah the cartoon did suck, but not if you were a kid when it came out. Let’s face it cartoons just generally suck, which is why Anime sucks.

The only beef I have with the Transformers 1 is that they made the cube retarded. WTF turn vending machines into killer robots? There is nothing like that in the original transformers.
