enjoy your thorough hard butt dicking.
My grandmother once went to navy basic training.
A month later she died.
The haircut and nose correction finally got her, eh?
OT: good luck with the training
does basic navy training cover shelling civilian structures and overseas transportation of oil
Have fun scrubbing the poop deck.
My grandmother once spat coffee all over the screen.
I had to clean it up for her.
not sure if sarcasm or trying to turn this into a debate.
First of all I’m doing sonar work. I will never be on a ship with heavy weapons. Secondly I enlisted to have some job security and retirement benefits not because I’m some buzz-cut military yahoo. I’m not a very patriotic person I see all the flaws and wrong doing in my nations history.
Don’t mind that shit, Perk, whenever anyone announces they are joining the military or something, someone ALWAYS has to make a comment that implicates him/her as an evil civilian killer (BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT THE MILITARY OF EVERY COUNTRY AIMS TO DO OBVIOUSLY).
and im assuming you got all that in writing, perky? if not they can do whatever they want with you.
Yes when I signed my contract it was for sonar tech I read over it all. The only way I won’t be a sonar tech is if I fail sonar school.
nothing better than sitting behind a mortar with a pack of cigarettes and shelling churches and other tall buildings while listening the air raid sirens and the local radio stations urging everyone to head to their basements
good luck broseph! Here’s a lifejacket, use it to beat people with
navy is bestest branch
me considers it as well
Good luck, Perks! Here’s to this leading to better things for you in the future.
My old psychologist was once in the navy. He got thrown out because since he is a psychologist he was able to see through their mental training, so while everyone else was ready to kill someone, he still couldn’t do it.
True story.
I’m gonna be a Sonar tech I will never be in a situation where I have to kill someone.
Also what the fuck job did your psych have? I cannot think of any classification besides corpsman & seals in the navy that would see any real combat. Unless he was in the Vietnam War.
if youre on a ship at all you can see combat.
Combat and naval combat are different though. Rarely in the Navy will you ever truly see their enemies as the firing range for the guns can be in miles. and a lot of it is aerial combat (navy fight pilots have a chance see combat.) The only navy troops on the front-lines are corpsman and even they are never actually in battle, they tend to patch up the wounded marines when they get back not on the field.
Historically, seamen’ve gotta be prepared for boardings.
You might think it extremely unlikely, but it’s something even the silent service has to practice against.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
