Titles missing

Is it suppose to be like this:

During the intro sequence, I was getting “#BMS_Title” and others like it. When I first arrived and it was supposed to say the chapter name; it said “#BMS_Chapter” or something similar. Don’t recall exact words.

Yeah, I’ve got the exact same issue. All chapter titles and save messages as well as that menu you screencaptured show up like that.

It sort of doesn’t really matter at all, though, since the mod as a whole plays just fine (and is excellent!) but if there’s a simple solution, I’d love to hear it.

Same problem. If I recall its either a missing file or a console command I have to type to re-gen it, I forget.

Its because the file is called bms_english.txt, and the game is looking for blackmesa_english.txt.

ILocalize::AddFile() failed to load file "resource/BlackMesa_english.txt".

Just rename the file in /resource/ and it will work.

For me, it was fixed by renaming the mod folder under Sourcemods as “BMS”. An odd issue but an easy fix.
