Oh my god, why does anybody care about the crates? They take money to open, so it’s about the same as getting a “chance to get a random item” in exchange for money - except people get random items anyway.

Actually he says he’s going to open them and give the results to his friends who helped him with getting all the crates (Also he just has friends holding on to his weps and hats). I don’t think he is smart for spending what will be about $498 on it but he blows his money on stupider shit so supporting a game he has spent 1200+ hrs on isn’t that bad. Thinking about it he’d be spending less that $1 every 2 hours so its unit price is cheaper than that of things like the movies and such.
