Make your own out of fiberglass. Use a motorcycle visor or some mesh screen to see out of. Neither of those will fog up.
Never made my own mask, but if you want to play paintball, that means you have some money. Don’t skimp on anything, cheap guns and gear are literally terrible. Buy some pods for ammo for quick reloads, and GET A GOOD GUN, ADD AN AFTERMARKET BARREL, like a flatline on a Tippman A5.
fiberglass is pretty cheap, the resin itself is what murders you financially (also literally, it’s a carcinogen)
a few inches of it, when combined with a few sheets of steel, can stop a small bullet.
Me and a friend were destroying a 1st gen G15 last weekend, he was using an air rifle with hollow point pellets.
Before the very first shot, I said “I bet it’s gonna come back right in my face” and the very first bullet hit my jacket. My friend said it’s the first time it travels all the way back instead of just getting stuck in/falling next to the target.
After that I plugged it into my computer, the space button still works.
