The Unofficial Official Chat Thread

I’m afraid that I’m not sure why you’ve suddenly posted this here.

I posted it in here for older members who might think trolling the noobs and shitting up the Caf is a good idea.

We’re not going to go through this shit again. I’m not going to screw with it. We have way too much to do. Anyone that wants to troll the noobs and shit up the threads - you’re banned for 30 days if I catch it again.

About 7 should be a staple of these forums.

I want to say something but everything that comes into my head is moronic. Like Wheatley.

I really should get off of these forums and finish my paper, I’m just ranting wildly right now.

I have 985 unread topics right now. 150 of them are in The Cafeteria. There are currently 150 threads in The Cafeteria.

Basically, I’m staying away from everywhere but the General areas until things calm down. Those threads move too fast right now and I don’t want to spend that much time reading, when I could be doing other stuff.

tl;dr you don’t have to worry about me shitting up anything outside of General :stuck_out_tongue:

If you check out one thing, I recommend the ARG. It’s pretty cool stuff.

I was trying to help but ok, I am guilty so ban me.

Even though I have a perfect PC with a triple screen setup, I replayed BM on a shitty old laptop just so I can help the noobs who have bad computers. But go ahead, ban me.

Oh, that’s… people are getting angry right now. I should step out for the moment.

That doesn’t give you a free pass to troll and derail threads like the old days.

You can be as butthurt as you need to be about it, but trolling noobs and derailing threads by older members is over. You knew it was going to be over when the forums got nuked. It’s a done deal and there’s nothing more to say about it.

You’re one of my favorite people on BM, I like you a lot. But I can’t give anyone a free pass to troll or shit up the threads in there. There are no more free passes for anyone. I have a lot of respect for the older members and what they can and do contribute, but they no longer have license to engage in certain behaviors that they may have enjoyed in the past, no matter how long they’ve been here or how much they participate.

No more trolling the noobs. No more intentionally shitting up the threads. If you don’t do it, then there’s no problem, right? There’s nothing more to discuss about this issue.

I thought I was your favorite.

Well, you were wrong.

Strangelove is everyone’s favorite, wtf.

I did peek in there earlier. I’m not one to participate in those kinds of things, but I am curious what the result will be.

Does anyone know where I could find some good DVD labels for Black Mesa? I’ve got a DVD with BlackMesa.zip and the 1080p leaked gameplay, just need to find a good label for it. If all else fails, I can slap the BMRF logo on there. I am using Lightscribe, so nothing that needs anything other than monochrome, please. (I’m too lazy to look it up, and it seems like the DVD covers thread got nuked along with most everything else)

I said ‘one of my favorites’. There are a lot of people here that I like. And there’s not really anyone that I dislike in any real way, outside of being occasionally annoyed by certain behaviors, not specific people, but behaviors - and that also applies to me.

That’s why the forums have seemed so quiet. I tend to only browse Ladie’s Club and below.

I don’t see how we can be expected to maintain civility when there are threads like this, though.

Am I one of your favorites?

I am the only favorite.

Interestingly, the claim that the book contains a hidden code telling the reader how they will die… is not refuted. I suppose you will find it if you look hard enough…

That thread is nothing. You’re all missing a really good show right now:

Oh no, pleasant discussion!

Did I miss a joke or something?

Favorite line from the HECU in Black Mesa:

“MOTHER OF GOD!!!”

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
