Election day has never been this frustrating.
We just took a giant step towards a nation where the jobless get left behind, the retired and disabled get screwed and with little to no investment in the future generations.

However, there’s some sunshine at the end of this bleak tunnel. Since the biggest party doesn’t have any actual politicians (just a bunch of amateurs that want their shot at the wage of a minister), odds are they will fuck this up so badly that nobody would even think about voting for them next time. Too bad we have to sit through 4 years of conservative hell first.

the little, extremist (mostly on the right wing) parties have gained more influence. I guess it’s because the people aren’t satisfied that much with the established parties any more and (the more uneducated if you will) fall prey to the simple “truths” they offer them. Howevs, I guess the great conservative parties will still hold up as the strongest ones but that’s no improvement either. As if especially the youth in Greece, Portugal or Spain with high unemployment gives any fucks for politicians any more… Well, I’ll grab my popcorn and see if it already boils under the surface just to blow up in all our faces in a few years :fffuuu:
Sounds similar to what happened here the last two elections, thankfully things seem to be going upward again and I’m cautiously optimistic this year is when we’ll finally turn back around.
On the other hand the resident racist party is still gaining support and got a big percentage in the EU elections, so we might just make a switch from bad to worse.
We’ve just started packing up for a move cross-country. And my dad has already revealed himself to have even worse decision-making skills than I thought. The first thing he packs up? The microwave. While we still have a freezer full of frozen meals.

I have been playing a game called running with rifles for a bit now, thing is I started modding it, and eventually got an item into teh game a golden deagle (as a joke item more or less). well from doing that it angered one of the members who started trash talking me, so I trash talked back, and he took a step over the line an pulled up info on me including where I live who I am and more, and he would not stop even after I said I was sorry for the trash talk, now I fear for my life and have filed a report on it. I have never done this before. I am use to anger not fear I don’t like fear. And I have no clue what to do besides cut all ties to the game, and its one of my favorites.

It’s who I am. I come from a family with a Military background. I don’t put up with shit like that. It’s as the old saying goes: If you encounter a bully, the only way to drive them off is to be a bigger bully (usually). Either that or ignore them, which would be the best case here. If a person’s stupid enough to come after me, I threaten. If they ignore the warning, I injure and attempt to incapacitate. If the threat continues to persist, I kill. If your life’s in danger, you should use any means necessary to preserve it. Fight dirty, use a chair, branch, vase, your fist, anything within reach. They’re after your life, “honor,” doesn’t play a part here. If you don’t use anything and everything at your disposal, then you aren’t trying hard enough. 'Corse there’s a wide variety of cases and subjects that I won’t take care to explain.
Who said he was a kid? What’s your definition of a kid? What’s my definition of a kid? Is he mentally competent enough to understand the ramifications of taking a life? Am I? Are you? Any kid can pull up that information and use it to scare you, I doubt you have anything to worry about, Darkone. Especially if the guy might live in a totally different part of the world. Your report with the authorities is likely the end of it, just block him and move on. Though in the future, maybe don’t trash-talk, and tone back your online info to make it at least a bit harder to find you.
