I have the opposite problem. There’s an Ebook I want to check out from the library, but it’s already checked out by someone else and there’s a waiting list. An audiobook is available but I don’t want an audiobook.
What book is it? Maybe I could help.

Check around some libraries in your state; some of them have online distribution of digital stuff if you have a card.
I’m living in a non-English country at the moment, so that wouldn’t do. I would have tried that already… I guess I’ll just have to try and record them myself.

Just drove for an hour for no reason. I was supposed to go out with my girlfriend and two of her friends today, but she didn’t bother to tell me that plans had changed until AFTER I drove for half an hour to get where I was originally supposed to pick her up. Trying not to be really pissed off at her, but FUCKING HELL I am sick of being taken for granted.
That’s kind of what IRL friends are there for in my experience.
Keep you around while you are entertaining and curb you when you fall apart. I’m not mad tho. I’ve got better friends here.
I recently kicked a 20 year friendship to the curb. Believe it or not, I feel SO much better about it. She was a pompous judgemental hypocrite that only came around when she wanted something. I feel even worse for my husband cuz they had been friends since 6th grade.
Gah, My HD6870 finally gave up completely today. It been having problem with crashes for well over a year now. Will have to settle with the integrated HD4250 for now since I won’t be able to afford a new one in the near future. At least I’ve got a lot of old games bought during the summer sale that I haven’t played yet.

The website to work on my bullshit math homework is fucking slow and awful, and often decides to fuck me over even if my answer was correct.

My HL2 mod’s latest map has decided to start leaking for no apparent reason. I spend hours adding a ton of new shit and suddenly there is a leak. The pointfile isn’t telling me shit- it’s a gigantic red line in space that doesn’t lead from any entity or pass out from inside the level. It just floats in the void for no reason and the map only stops leaking when I put skybox materials around the whole map and it, which will play hell with optimization. WTF.
