Lacrosse is too silly for me.
But ye, ice hockey. I’m actually not too much of a fan of the American style of ice hockey (hard and physical with little to no strategy, other than crashing the net), but considering it’s the only bit of ice hockey that airs over here in Belgeland, I have to watch it to get my fill of the only sport I like to watch.
1 - I can’t play BM until tomorrow night

I used to have a weird feeling about lacrosse too, but then I handled a stick and made a few tosses. It feels so natural. It isn’t long until catching and throwing are done with great accuracy. Other sports involve hitting things around with sticks… but when you catch the ball in lacrosse, you have something no other team-sport offers: a loaded weapon.
(Okay, I guess some team-sports offer it too…)

I dare you to tell me underwater ice-hockey does not lend a sense of normalcy to the non-underwater variety of ice-hockey.

all sports are weird if you think about it, most of them are pointless.

Yes, it’s just a ball/puck/flag/token/shuttlecock, but from the same perspective, this is just a stick:
So, is it pointless?
No. It’s practice.
And there’s an almost immediate recognition of this behavior as sport. Frankly, I’m already cheering for the beige pup to hold onto the stick longer despite only just seeing the picture.

keep in mind we are human not animals… ok need to reword that later, we don’t need to practice skills for survival, so sports are pointless.
