Bah, now I’m sad it’s not reciprocated and mad her boyfriend cheated on her.
Fuck absolutely everything about trying to successfully chain walljumps in Super Metroid.
I try to recover. And then I realize the ways her boyfriend is like me… same home state, same career path, same taste in music-- the only things I could care about to define a person… and my fists clench in effort to maintain my composure.
look of course it sucks, but the anger is all yours
rationalize it all you want, feelings are feelings, they’re not defined by location, career or taste in music
It just sucks when they like someone who’s eerily similar to you and they either don’t realize it or don’t care. But eh, its not like they control their hormones. People like who they like and that’s about all there is to it.
Apparently this joke is transphobic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KSDnE5_Jsw#t=18 I’m done with this whole trans-movement bullshit when a clear joke that isn’t insulting anyone is called transphobic because some little shit wants to seem oppressed it insults my fucking intelligence this whole “trans civil rights” movement seems ridiculous to me when in America we still have race issues, one thing at a time you dumb shitheads.
Hey it’s my opinion if you don’t agree with it TOUGH SHIT, that’s what these people seem to think is that everything should cater to them exclusively, but it will never because nothing will every cater to anyone exclusively. There is always something that you will not agree with but you can’t change it that is the fact of the world.
Edit:
I saw Dreadmoth’s edit that’s what I assumed you were trying to say I still wanted to get that off my chest though.
Edited my post to clarify what I was facepalming about >_>
yeah I saw that and edited my post as well LOL :retard:
so you’re willing to brush aside an entire community’s (whatever you wanna call it) struggle for equality because some of them are assholes and take it too far?
There is a clear and definable difference between the struggle of actual transexuals and these tumblr genderqueer kids who claim they feel more like a she on wednesdays and thursdays but a he on fridays and saturdays all other days they want only non-binary gender pronouns. I have never met a transexual who would have been offended by the joke in that video because they get that it’s just referencing physical genders which are a clear definable thing.
They basically turned sexuality and gender into a box of Lego that they can shape into whatever they feel like and then get offended when reality checks up on them.
Hm, isn’t this just being offended as well? After all, “there is always something that you will not agree with but you can’t change it. That is the fact of the world.”
:retard:
^ Pretty much. You can bitch about it, but it’ll make you look like a raving idiot after a period of time.
if people want to be ambiguous about their sexuality and gender identity, let them

maybe that’s actually how some people feel too, hard as it may be to imagine
I can’t help but feel that most of the sexuality/gender issues stem from the lack of language to deal with it (pretty clear gender divide in most indo european languages afaik) aside from actual prejudice
That’s only a part of it. What tends to bother us is their crusade to make people outside of their microcosm of interchangeable sexuality/gender feel guilty for not understanding their “struggle” or whatever they think they are being oppressed with.
There is real oppression, though. In many places, you can still be fired or even have your kids taken away from you (for allegedly being a “danger” to them). While you may not have feelings for this kind of thing, it’s not really happening to you; it’s happening to them.
I say don’t try to make THEM feel guilty about them expressing their own views. But then again, this is me being a hypocrite as well.
Oh well. Just stating the case as I see it. Take it or leave it.
I’m not offended, I’m annoyed that people are acting oppressed when REAL oppression is staring them in the face everyday. A lot of these people will ignore the real oppression of the poverty-stricken and racial oppression that exists because they feel their struggle is more important, because someone called them a girl when they feel like a boy or vice versa, if I was never told that you preferred that I wouldn’t know I would go by what your obvious physical appearance lead me to believe I’m not oppressing you.
There’s a fine line between “annoyed” and “offended”. I’m not sure they are ignoring real oppression. Maybe they are “annoyed” as well just as you’re “annoyed” at them. It’s not just being called a boy when you identify as a girl, or vice versa. It goes beyond that to actual actions against them.
You don’t see it because it’s not happening to you.
I’ll give you an example:
A close family member of mine is transgender. Born with the body of a male, she believes she’s female (just as you believe that you’re the gender you are). One day, in full female attire, she first got called “sir” by a bus driver, then, while having some business to take care of in downtown, she had her wig ripped off her head by some yahoos and they played “keep away” with it. Then threw it to someone on a bike who rode off with it, before throwing it in a trash can.
A couple months later, she was in a public restroom (the “ladies room”) to go to the bathroom when there was a knock on the stall. Two male police officers questioned her what she was doing in the restroom and said that if they caught her using the ladies room again, they would arrest her.
This happened just a few years ago.
