Also, if you tell me that you use VLC, I’m going to laugh. Hard.
VLC works fine, just like WMP, but with support for more codecs, but still does a terrible job of processing high definition video, so if you use VLC, you’re no better then someone who uses WMP.
Stop being so defensive. He was obviously using it for music (he was waiting for his library to show up; unless there’s also a video library, in which case I could be wrong about that), and it is shit for music.
I guess you use WinAmp eh? Well I tried WinAmp, and thought the interface had waaaaaayyy too much shit in it so I’ll just stick with WMP.
Bscly, simplify the Winamp interface to suit your needs. Or get over the initial information overload 
No, I use foobar2000. It has a simple yet effective interface, and is very light. You can also customize the interface by adding, removing and/or moving elements. There’s also a wide range of add-ons available (most of them on an unofficial site), which makes the possibilities near endless.
I dont see a problem here. it works perfectly in its simplicity. Ive had the same skin for like 8 years because it does absolutely everything I could ever want. WMP is a clumsy crash prone piece of shit.

I use iTunes as well. It’s the most intuitive system available, and it’s fast and efficient. And I don’t have to dick around with anything to get it to work, which is a fucking godsend.

Have you ever used Winamp? Say what you will about the “i-‘X’” range of products, at least they’re user friendly. Also, I’ve done some tests- for some strange reason, mp3s played by iTunes sound better than any other programs. I’m no audiophile, so I don’t know why, so don’t bother asking.

I use windows media player and MPC with CCCP for videos. I use media player because its stored on the taskbar, i just right click it, click play all music, minimize and thats it.
