Over here, smoking’s banned in pretty much all public places apart from bars that don’t serve food. It’s still allowed outside and in factory halls (unless the company forbids it, obviously), but apart from that, no smoking. Though as far as I know, they want to ban smoking inside any public building before 2014.
I for one like that, nothing more annoying than a bunch of coughing idiots filling a public room with smoke and blasting saliva your way every time their lungs decide to signal the fool that smoking’s slowly raping their respiration organs.
Go die in your home, don’t do it amidst others.

smoking in public locations has been a big nono in most countries for years already, but they’re promising it on paper to gradually put a stop to sales and consumption of tobacco in finland, don’t remember by what year but I recall reading 2020 somewhere
if they do it right, sure why not, but it’s incredibly easy to just have a massive under the counter sales revenue for illegal importers (bhutan currently) and fuck everything up as good as the good old prohibition days
Unless their legal measures include replacing all tobacco with marijuana.
