yall need to get laid. both of ya’s.
I’m trying to stop the fight. And yes
me too
NOW
So my grandfather has pancreas cancer that has started to spread to his liver.
Proper fffuuuuuuuu, right there.
Hope he’ll get better.
Pancreas cancer is pretty much a one way ticket to death.
They can only take away the tumors on the pancreas in the very early stages. Seeing as it’s already spreading to his liver, they’re too late too operate.
Chemo is an option, but again, it has already spread to other organs, so very slim chance is slim.
:[ Feel for you bro
Yeah.
Not fun.
Slim is about right - still, some folks do make it - They won’t know until they try.
Ah well, life goes on.
Sorry to hear bout this bro. =(
Damn it…
Women who scream while on game shows.
I am in the kitchen working on this or that, and from the other room (I am taking care of my parents - They live with me and are old, so have the TV REALLY LOUD) I hear -
YYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe…
AAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…
SHUT THE F_CK UP YOU STUPID HALF BAKED DUMB_ASS BEATCH! (And guys for that matter)
You showed up to the show planning on being a potential contestant. What the hell is all the screaming about.
SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP
SHUT THE HELL UP.
Are you really that excighted by having to pay mega tax on that car you just won?
Oh and… SHUT UP!
haha, I totally feel you man
I can’t help but be baffled by disproportionate reactions on TV… then again, I am somewhat anhedonic.

When it comes to that sort of crap, being anhedonic is not so bad -
I on the other hand, have a slight mania towards being happy. ((Shrugs)What the hell - of all the manias to have, that one is not so bad) I am certainly not over the top, and am very much self-controlled.
Maybe it comes from working in a safety sensitive postion, but an over reaction can get you, or someone else injured - If nothing else, I have no problem with people expressing emotions, but Murphy - at least maintain some dignity.
The thing that concerns me about over-reactive folks, is if there is a medical emergency… The last thing you want, would be one of these jack-asses in attendence.
One of my buddies, was out horse riding in a group of people - One of them fell off thier horse, and their head struck a rock. They were unconcious - What does one fo them do? They come running over all in a flap, grab the person, (While leaning over them) pull them up and both hug them, and then (In a panic) shake them, trying to revive them.
I think I would slap the person doing the grabbing and shaking - The person has been knocked out - they are laying there. There is no blood on their head. They are not convolsing.
Their airway is not threatened.
Their breathing is not threatened.
Their circulation is not threatened.
They were laying in a reasonable position… They are not convolsing - their is no blood coming from their mouth, nose, eyes or ears - There are plenty of people to send on ahead for help -
Someone who remains calm, would have have the sense get someone to do a basic C-Spine hold on them. (Imobilize their head and neck by holding it still, in case the person does start to twitch) From there, check and record vitals for when the medical pros got there. - From there, CAREFULLY do a check for broken bones, and any blood that you may have missed in your initial check. Keep checking vitals until the pros arive, or the person revives in which case, you still keep them still until the pros show up.
(Once they do, you give them a situation breifing as to what took place, vitals, and any other info you have gathered)
And some over emotional dumb-ass is going to start twisting this person around like a rag doll?
I hate overly emotional people - they are reckless and often are more interested in attention, than in expressing their emotions…
GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Oh, and for the game show people … Once more… SHUT THE HELL UP!
:awesome:
not too sure I’d do all of that, since I wouldn’t know how to I think, but I’d certainly make sure the person isn’t moved around in case of fractures or concussion
Which is perfect Burinator.
A first responder is not a doctor, para-medical or even a nurse.
What you would do is excactly the thing to do. I have training through work (Which I have used for a few auto-acidents I have come across) so, the repeating training helps a person to remember.
One poor lady had her hand chew up pretty good. I put on medi gloves, got her to sit on the ground, and then started the basics. Had her sit on the ground with her hand above her heart. I had someone else, stand buy her, in case she decided to get up and walk out on the highway. (that is important - If you have a few extra folks willing to help, always make sure that the person you are attending, if in shock, or emotionally upset, does not wonder out in front of truck)
I knelt down behind her, and then began to do a basic check to see if she had any head trama, neck injuries, or broken bones. As her hand had stopped bleeding, I was not as concerned for that. I then wrapped up her mangled hand, and took vitals.
Always remember this. ABC
A Airways
B Breathing
C Circulation.
Always that order of importance. ALWAYS.
If the person has an obstructed airway, they will be history rather quickly.
If their airway is open, but they are not breathing, then that is next - need the oxygen to the brain - (2 breaths into their mouth, and then 30 chest compressions - repeat until either they revive, help arrives, or you simply can’t continue) (( By the way… the beat for Saturday Night Fever is consider the perfect speed to do chest compressions - also, do not be afraid to break the breast bone when doing chest compressions - It is common that the ribs will disconect from breast bone, so not the end of the world if you break a few bones - As long as you do not punch them through a lung.)) ((( Also, if you do end up doing mouth to mouth, be very careful if there has been some major trama, or they have choked on some object, or asperated (inhaled) some vomit or whatever - some, when they start to breath again, will projectile puke, so heads up)))
Circulation. If the blood is either leaking or not flowing, it is a bad day. Do what you can to stop the bleeding, or to reposition (Only if you have to) so that blood can flow through the body.
It is a good thing to know - You could save someone’s life.
I perosnally do not really like the whole blood spattered acidecnt thing, but if I can help save a life… I am willing ot be a bit uncomfotable to achieve that.
mmy upstairs neighbors are seriously re arranging furniture at 6:47 am
