So, I ordered something over the Internet last week and it was shipped via UPS Ground on Monday morning. Throughout the week, I watched the tracking as it made its way to my place.
Today, while at work, I noticed that it was delivered to my apartment complex’s rental office. Sweet, I’ll just go there and get after I get off of work. I get out of work, my bus is going by. I wait nearly a half hour for the next one. I get to my connecting bus just in the nick of time. Super sweet, I might still be able to make it before they close.
The bus STOPS AT EVERY FRIGGING STOP IMAGINABLE…and the traffic signals at EVERY FRIGGING INTERSECTION is just turning red. I finally make it home, run about four blocks to the rental office and make it there…just as the last employee is driving away.

Constant messages from Steam that it will stop working on Windows 2000. My computer’s side-fan is failing, will sputter on and off, and so I removed the side of the case to lean it at an angle. The system is constantly overheating from playing TFC. My keyboard intermittently ceases functioning due to a loose plug, which will leave me either stationary or locked into a forward run with no control but the mouse. Every round of voting yields two atrocious maps, and I haven’t been on the winning 50% in about a dozen map votes. People who join Blue are all assholes, and will never correct a team balance in their favour, even if it’s 8-v-3. The lack of friendly fire promotes endless spamming of frag grenades, which are the only grenades you spawn with on half of the voted maps. There’s a group of users which have a field of view too wide that flames don’t do anything to obscure their view, and that’s an almost perfect overlap with those who bunnyhop, and they always play the two slowest classes. My digital thermostat continuously adjusts four times a day to 80 or 85 degrees before kicking the AC on, while I’d much like it lower than 74. I know the most wonderful woman, but something important keeps us unable to grow any closer. I’m owed about $200 that I will never be paid, and with the same family I also owe $20 which I will never be able to pay, and this drags on my conscience. The library sent me a replacement bill for a book two days overdue, the day I returned it. My local humidity is suffocating, and the heat has no reprieve. I don’t know if I’m expected to visit the wedding of a family member I haven’t seen in ten years. Sleep comes hours late every night, and the mornings are equally delayed… I want neither to stop nor to go. Only the internal PC speaker is available as a sound mode to Tetris Classic, which has some pretty enjoyable tracks in a midi-type sound (so instead they’re a one-track obnoxious buzz of audio). When I partake in rigorous exercise, I get a strange piercing feeling in the upper-right side of my chest, opposite my heart. My ex’s new partner sees me as a threat or something, due to a few slipups, and apparently googled me out, but hasn’t tried contacting me. I wish he would just ask whatever he wants to know, I already approve of the dude from what I know of him. I wish I were running Ubuntu right now, but I don’t have an ethernet cord to reach my linux machine.
