I hate Microsoft and my decision to go with Windows Phone right now. I can’t install the Mango update because I need to plug my phone into my computer and use the Zune software. I get a read error on every computer I try it on, and the most widely suggested solution is to reset my phone. Again. It didn’t fucking fix the problem a few months back, why the fuck would it make any difference now?
Fuck you, Microsoft, I’m not getting a Windows Phone next time.
(I don’t care about hacking my phone at all, I just want it to work and not have to deal with this shit)
Mine works very well and I got the Mango update without any problems. You should really try resetting it.

See, there’s a problem with that. My phone is now bricked. :meh:
I managed to get it to install an update, but apparently it wasn’t Mango. So I went to restore the restore point that was conveniently saved on my hard drive to try and install it again. It froze at around 40%, and now my phone is unusable. I’ve tried doing a hard reset, but it still does it, and I’ve tried to get it to “download” the original version of the OS, but it just sat there for about an hour, when it specifically said on screen it would take about 10 minutes.
Yeah, not a lot of confidence in Microsoft’s phone right now. It’s a great phone when it works, but it hasn’t been working for me for about 2 months, and now it doesn’t work at all.
Is it still under warranty?
Dubtful. I’ll check tomorrow.
(got it in January or February, don’t know how long the warranty lasts and didn’t get an extended warranty)
