Dammit, I can’t get my RAM stable on a 35% overclock. 2 year old PC3-10666 6-6-6-20 RAM (dual channel) running at 1333 MHz stock, overclocked to 1800 MHz. Unfortunately I get massive artifacts after booting into Windows (with increased voltage and more suitable timings).

Maximum stable OC (so far…) is 1700 MHz with slightly altered timings, the sticks are nice and cool thanks to my epic cooling solution (hanging a big fan in front of the memory with thread derp de herp)

Yeah it’s dangerous stuff, a power black-out once took out one of my 9800GX2 GPU cores. It was actually a good thing though because I got a GTX285 in return (which is better in every way).

ghaaa I go to play some smod tactical and find out it has been made unplayable and the only thing I can think of is the new mac compatible update I just was forced to get.

If my ex and I started our desktops at the same time, the circuit breaker for that room would trip open. Was quite funny. Had to wait at least 30 seconds before activating the other system.

Talking about electricity, during a christmas family dinner my dad blew up a power socket (literally BLEW IT UP, it melted due to temperatures over 9000 degrees), the power socket was so old it looked like world war two vintage.

You’ve got things a little swapped. Instead of Dumb and Funny, it should be Unfunny and Stupid. Unfunny doesn’t participate in jokes and only interprets things literally, while Stupid makes lame jokes around Unfunny, expecting him to react positively.
