Downloaded APB Reloaded over night, thought my video card could be able to run it… A full 6 hours down the drain…
APB is an unoptimized piece of shit. It’s a decent game if you ignore all of the russian hackers and 10-year old gangsters, but the poor performance makes it nigh impossible to play.
You also -need- to have a 64-bit OS with at least 6GB of RAM to be able to play it for more than 10 minutes with proper textures.
G1 broke APB in terms of preformance. I used to(RTW) be able to play max details with no FPS lag, now on the same machine I play on minimum and watch as my frames regularily dip into the thirties.
At least 30s is still relatively playable. Even with retail APB I was probably in the 20s all the time.

Everything’s playable with a stable 12 FPS and higher. I only worry when it gets below that.
