Doh, I see what you did now.

2 ways to solve this:

  1. Get Process Explorer ; Use the Find File Handle… feature, search for a part of the path or the filename. If another program is using it (probably some obscure windows service that blocked when trying to do something with the file), you’ll see it, and you can force it to close the file handle. Then you can delete it.

  2. If that doesn’t work, Spybot S&D has a file shredder tool. I believe it can rip these kinds of files and get rid of them.
    But I’m pretty sure step 1 will do the job.
