The Last Film You Saw.

The Evil Paper.

Tron. Never had seen it growing up, but with Tron Legacy coming soon I figured I’d better watch the original first. It was fairly decent, but there was something just odd about the whole thing, though I can’t place my finger on it. Perhaps it was Flynn’s quick acceptance of what had happened, and the way the things that happened in the real world seemed strangely disjointed from what happened in the computer. It certainly did have a unique visual style, though, and some kind of message about the Spanish Inquisition and Soviet Russia (I think).

Predators. Overall meh with some ‘you’ve got to be kidding me’ moments. Do not recommend.

  1. Pretty fucked up shit. Do recommend.

Field of Dreams. I love it so much. I cry at the end of it every time.

Tried to watch Splice. Got halfway through. Either I’m too stupid to appreciate a good flick or the movie’s too much of a crap.

Now now, there’s no reason both conditions can’t be satisfied.

The only reason I saw Splice was because they marketed it as a horror movie. It was decent but it wasn’t what I expected.

SPLICE SPOILERS BE HERE

[COLOR=‘Black’]Yeah, so apparently at some point some guy ends up boning the fairy-girl-monster? The hell’s that about?

Red
Very funny movie with good action scenes and fantastic actors.
But seems like the comic was more serious and brutal, which could have been an at least equally awesome movie.

Just watched District 9 right here from the comfort of my decade-old desk chair. It loses a lot of its appeal when the gun sounds are lowered to comfortable levels through a year-old headset.

The Social Network

It was undescribable. In a good way.

10/10

Paranormal Activity 2

Much scarier than the first one. I’m kind of mad that they went off the theatre ending of the original for this movie instead of the original one, though.

Orphan. That was the scariest thing I’ve seen so far.

Tideland. pretty much as unbearable as they say. and i love Terry Gilliam.
Babel. 9/10.
White Ribbon. as usual Haneke is unforgettable. obviously Bergman-inspired.
as well as the danish miniseries Riget (the kingdom) which is pretty much as good as i remembered it.

I thought Tideland was pretty good. Much better than Brothers Grimm.

Watched Creepshow today. Its kind of amusing to see my favorite writer, Stephen King, act like a simpleton in a short film (within a film) that takes place within one of his created cities.

Watched Snatch last night. It was pretty good.

“Why would I want a caravan that ain’t got no fuckin’ wheels?”

I still have to watch that movie.

Inland Empire.
Lemming.

Just finished watching Airplane. I’d seen parts of it before, but this was my first time seeing the whole thing all at once.

It was very dumb, and a lot of the jokes I didn’t really find funny, but lulz were still had.
