Persona- Ingrid Burgman’s character study of a young Polish woman is just too damn weird and heavy on the Jungian philosophy. A tough act to follow.
The girl with the dragon tattoo (a bit too disturbing for my liking but good nevertheless)
The Matrix trilogy (a bit aged but still good)
Machete (not so bad that I wouldn’t watch it till the end but still pretty bad)
How to train your dragon (all the animation films are pretty much the same and this one is a bit above the average)
This is united (some good shit)
Jackass 3.
Many many lulz were had.
The original Solaris.
I hate it when movies try to be artsy and end up being long and boring because of it. It had an interesting story, but a lot of “why the fuck is this here?” scenes.
You mean 3D one?
Great lulz indeed
Yup.
I found the remake to be much longer and boring despite it being an hour shorter.
Heat.
Wonderful shootout.
I was watching saw I
The Iron Giant
10/10 would watch again, I love that movie.
Fun Fact: the iron giant is voiced by Vin Diesel.
Kick-Ass!
Seriously, that was the best movie i have ever seen(shared with Inception)!
I saw the remake but forgot most of it. I liked the style in which they portrayed Solaris itself better in the newer one. And I remember it didn’t have so much bullshit that had absolutely nothing to do with anything.
What did you find unnecessary in the original? I really found nothing that wasn’t part of the plot.
Same here.
I was tempted to post that in reply, but didn’t because it’s been a couple years… but really, just because the movie was slow doesn’t mean any scene didn’t do something important for* plot development,
- character development,
- or setting development
[COLOR=‘Gray’](…perhaps because the setting is a character).
Just saw Into the Wild… pretty awesome movie, although the main character was a major asshole, in every sense of the word.
Can’t help but feel bad for the guy though judging by the end of the movie, specially since it was a true story…
Just saw this movie, let the pic speak for itself.
Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day - 7/10
I loved the first Boondock Saints, giving it a 9/10. It was a new and interesting way to look at the revenge action movie. The second one also has some good moments in it, but it gets bogged down with poor humor and too much superimposing of people over the action scenes. I would watch it again, and probably even enjoy it, but I wouldn’t be buying the DVD any time soon.
fuck i need to go watch that now

He doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion. Real Talented, and most importantly, self made
He really is a sorta guido IRL, but he’s straight on the fucking line. Unlike those Jersey Shore faggots
