The Last Film You Saw.

Iron Man 2… I liked it, though a bit short on the action and spectacular footage, it had a proper story that really gives more in depth on Stark’s personality and history.

Also, if anyone goes to see it: sit through the entire credit-roll…

[COLOR=‘Black’]Thor… Fuck yea!

I came home instead and watched that part on Youtube

Well, I just went “dudes, let’s stay, there’s bound to be a reference to the next Avengers film at the end”. And I was right, it’s the “Fuck yeah”-thing for geeks like me.

Uhhhhh why does that sound like a form of gay porn

Pandorum. Well, most of it. I missed the first 30 minutes. I wonder what the two sequels that are never going to be made would have had in them?

Casino Royale (bluray)

more crappy movie i bet

Latest films I saw…

Clash of the Titans - One of the few movies to make you bored with action sequences. The movie was good, and the acting was decent, but they loaded the middle with one really long action sequence that could have been trimmed, and followed it up with a (barely) related action sequence right afterwards that could have been cut out entirely. Totally ruined the pace of the film. I liked that they actually told the audience a bit of the actual myths and legends, rather than making up their own versions. Sure, there were a few that they tweaked for the story, but they still tried to keep them close, at least. The CGI for Medusa sucked, though…they spent so much time on the giant scorpions, that Medusa was horrible. It’s sad when a (supposedly) minor action sequence gets more attention than a major plot point in the movie. I haven’t seen the original, so I can’t tell how faithful of a remake it was, though.

How to Train your Dragon - Awesome film. Has a few holes in it, yes, but almost the entire movie is made for fun. If you haven’t seen it, do so now, it is great.

Planet 51 - A really fun movie. Don’t listen to all of the people that put it down, and just watch it as a reverse ET. The CGI is really cool, the world designs are fun, and the only voice that seemed out of place to me was Justin Long as Lem. And…ignore the fact that all the aliens don’t wear pants…

Green Zone. I liked it, had me going, though the ending was pretty predictable halfway through the movie.

Smoke Signals. Goddamn I love that movie.

i cant remember

I love that movie.

Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz. :jizz:

Saw Independance Day on TV recently. Still an awesome film, even though (or maybe because) it used model shots and matte painted lasers. And once you look past the stereotypical gruffness of very male actor and horrendously out of date computer virus idea it becomes a fairly inspirational film.

Also gotta love the F/A 18s! :awesome:

Hacking into an alien mothership and shutting down the shields of all alien crafts with a laptop is everyday bussiness.

Well atleast it’s better than 2012.

I nearly burst out laughing when the professor dude said “We’ll give them a virus” and all the generals looked stunned.

Gotta love the escape scene though, blasting a nuke into the alien hangar control before speeding out of a closing triangle door with your pursuers crashing into it behind you.

Wouldn’t have worked without Woll Smoth.

But yeah, overall it’s a good movie to watch, just shut down your brain and grab some snacks.

The more I see that movie the less I like it.

Why did they have to change the best line in the movie? “Welcome to Earf” was awesome.

“Today! we celebrate! our! Independence day!”
