The Last Film You Saw.

Hit the nail on the fucking head. The first Star Wars Trilogy is like that too, take away the technology and you basically have the young hero realising his destiny, and old warrior trying to redeem himself and the people fighting their oppresors.

I watched the Animatrix recently, the Second Renaissance was pretty fucking intense. The scene of the first robot murder and the essential slaughter of the human military kinda burned into my brain.

However that didn’t stop me pointing out that using nuclear weapons against machines would annihilate them due to the EMPs created and that nuking all human world leaders after having them sign a surrender made little sense.

Moon was indeed awesome. I love psychological movies. District 9 was extremely good as well, probably my favorite movie of the year. Hope it wins something at the Oscars, though it most likely won’t. :frowning: .

I love D9 as well.

I’ve had this impression, like, ever since I watched the fucking trailer. So this is completely legit.

Yeah. That’s one of the movies I just can’t get up the courage to watch. The other few being Faces of Death, Antichrist, and Cannibal Holocaust.

Antichrist was good and beautiful and all (Willem Dafoe’s blood ejaculating cock and clit cutting aside), but the script wasn’t all that great.

Saw The Road yesterday…

Was an okay movie, but after a while it got a little too stretched. Bit too much drama and not enough actually going on. I always sheered when a gang showed up, but 5 minutes later they were all gone again >_>

6.5/10

Saw VI.

6/10

2012 6/10

I watched A fistfull of dynamite.its really great and i wish sergio leone hadmade like way more movies

I’m sure he did, they just weren’t westerns. The movies that I’m aware of were:

A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
Fistful of Dynamite (also known as Duck You Sucker!)
Once Upon a Time in the West (never finished this one actually)
Once Upon a Time in America
Collosus of Rhodes

There’s probably more though.

The last film I saw in a theater was V for vendetta…i think.
last film I watched was Casablanca, never seen it before.
both were good.

No thats actually all of em. Dunno if anyone else in the world reckons this but my fav is probably few dollars more. you shouyld watych the rest of once upon a time in the west tho its amazing and henry fonda is so rad as a villain in it

No it’s not. Click the link in my previous post.

he’s like the producer on a couple but that hardly counts. i was talkin movies thaat he directed and wrote/stole from kurosawa

Gentlemen, I did it!

I keep missing the beginning of Leatherheads. So every couple of days I catch it on again, and see a few more minutes than I did last time. I just need to see the first eight minutes and I will have seen it all

Watched it twice, actually, and both times I couldn’t get through it. First time I got into the middle of the first scene and the second time I got to the end of the scene after that. It’s pretty stylish but it’s just pretty boring, at least as far as I watched.

While A Fistful of Dollars if pretty good, Yojimbo is still much better. All of Kurosawa’s films are excellent actually.
