The Last Film You Saw.

I just saw the new version of True Grit. Pretty good. Haven’t seen the original, so I can’t compare them.

Buried - Thought it was very good.

I saw Steak, by Quentin Dupieux AKA Mr Oizo, a couple of days ago.

It’s pretty good, acutally. It’s somekind of a satire of today’s search for perfection blended with a subtile parody of A Clockwork Orange. You have to not be afraid of senseless dialogues and scenes though, as the film is very much like Dupieux’s music: Eccentric.

You can see two familiar faces there, kudos to whom can recognize them.

50% of Andy Samberg ?

The other 50% of Andy Samberg ?

Billy Crystal + Christopher Walken ?

saw monsters. pretty cool movie about how the war on drugs is a bigass glowing octopus or something

Finally got around to watching Inception.

Oh my sweet Jesus.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the BEST film I have seen in a long, LONG time.

Yes, except totally not. Also the last one totally looks more like Sam Brown from WKUK.

I thought of suggesting Sandy Amberg on one of them, but thought nobody would get the reference.

Just came back from watching the new Tron

Felt a bit like avatar tbh… very pretty visuals (specially the motorcycle scene) but the plot was really uninteresting.

Was pretty fun as a fan of the first movie to see the references and familiar characters but there wasn’t much more than that. I wish writers would actually put some work into scripts for movies like this one so they wouldn’t waste an awesome soundtrack and awesome effects with a poor plot. That way you’d leave the theater feeling like you watched a good movie instead of a bittersweet nostalgic version of avatar that could have been much more.

Everyone keeps comparing it to avatar, and I just had no feeling of it from watching it. I can see the similarities, but the two movies never felt similar for me.

I just saw Inception for the first time yesterday. It was pretty awesome.

^ Good movie, that one.

I watched The Five Obstructions. Hilarious, informative, and even moving, this tale of a game between Danish filmmakers is good fun to say the least. It’s obviously best if you know a little about film going in, but you’ll learn quite a bit due to it’s documentary nature.

I just watched Naked Gun 2 1/2, and 33 1/3… (had seen the first one like a week ago)

Man, they don’t make funny movies like these anymore… in EVERY shot there’s something completely absurd and hilarious.

if you like that sort of thing, try hot shots 1/2 (by the same people)

saw Black Swan.

Wow, I never knew phalanx-stuff could weird me out so much in movies. Fingers and toes… [COLOR=‘Black’]shudder Black Swan was one of the most disturbing yet enjoyable movies I’ve seen in years.

I watched Zombie Strippers.

…again.

I saw The Host, a Korean flick. Pretty awesome, well thought out tale of revenge, definitely beats True Grit.

finally saw hot fuzz

funny stuff, although i didn’t think it was as good as people made it seem

also saw the twist coming 40 minutes into the film

I seen them already, obviously :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw Tron: Legacy sometime earlier this week.

I never saw the original Tron, so I can’t really compare, but it was flashy, entertaining, and will be forgotten in 2 years at best.
