I was watching part of Miller’s Crossing last night. I think that might be the best movie ever made. Not my favorite, but the best use of the medium ever constructed. The camera angles, and images, the characters, the story, it all just works. I can’t find complaint with any of it. I really do love that movie.
edit: ^i saw there was a second one on wikipedia, but then I saw it was directed by someone else, and also that it got poor reviews, so I decided not to watch it
