Lat film I saw was Eclipse. Oh yeah.
That is all.

I caught a bit of Peter Jackson’s King Kong on TV last night. I had forgotten how utterly stupid that movie was. First of all, it could have been half the length if Jackson hadn’t made everyone stare for 20 seconds every time something happened. Also, Ann should have died like 100 times in that movie. Plus, her love for the giant monkey is more than a little psychotic. And how is anyone expected to take Jack Black seriously? I kept expecting him to burst into a air guitar solo and sing about the situations he got into.
Now that would have made King Kong worthwhile. Kinda.
Saw Predators a few days back.
pretty much sums up my thoughts.
I had that same feeling only from watching the trailer.
I liked the fact that King Kong managed to win against three V-rex’s (‘evolved’ version of Tyrannosaurus Rex) even though the Tyrannosaurus Rex had the most powerful jaws of any land animal in history (basically capable of ripping his arm off)
It’s good entertainment though, but apart from good visual effects it was pretty boring and loooooong.
I liked the laws-of-physics-defying giant insects on the island. Pretty fucking creepy.
Watched “Dinner For Shmucks” last night. Humor was good, nothing raunchy and would enjoy seeing it again. [And I’m not a huge fan of Steve Carrel]
I watched James & the Giant Peach for the first time in over 10 years, and it reminded me how much better Henry Selick is than Tim Burton.
Tim Burton did Beetlejuice and Frankenweenie, and those were enjoyable. The problem with being a fan of Tim Burton is that you usually have to be a fan of Johnny Depp. He was good in Ed Wood and some other things.
Speaking of Ed Wood, the Plan 9 remake looks neat.
Speaking of remakes, I’m about to watch The Crazies. I hear it’s better than the first, and I hope that is true.
Last film I watched? Easy. The last film I watched, the last film, the very last film, the last film I actually watched, the last, the last film, the last film that… the film, the film I, the last film that is, of course, the very last film, the last one, let’s be clear, not any other, I mean, it was the last film that I watched, it wasn’t any other kind of film, it wasn’t in any kind of sequence either, I mean, you know, with other films, so it was quite literally the only last, well, no, it was simply just the last film, of all the films, well, no, not of all the films, because there weren’t any others, on that day, let it be noted, but of all those films in the past, before that last one, by that I mean, you know, well, films, but essentially the very last one I saw, was that one, and that was it. Last film I saw. Over, Out, Finito. No more. Very last film I saw, that was. So that’s it, IT, no more questions, end of the interrogation, thankyou very much, that is totally it. Right? That was the last film, end of…ok? Good.
Ah, no, hang on a minute…
what the fuck was that
Boredom.
I just watched Back to the Future earlier today, and I have one question.
Why didn’t they use the widescreen cut of the movie on the DVD?
Last movie I saw in the theater was Iron Man 2, and IMO it wasn’t as good as the first one. I sorta want to see Dinner for Schmucks, Inception, and The Other Guys. But I’m poor right now so probably won’t see any of them until they come out on DVD.
Inception, pretty damn good.
:retard:
Last night i watched scarface for the millionth time and it continues to be amazing
Alice in Wonderland. Again. It’s still pretty fucking epic.
Watched Hot Tub Time Machine last night. That movie is crazy.

Pretty good documentary tbh.
