The Last Film You Saw.

Yes.

After reading all this I had to see it and since I feel like crap today and am unlikely to get much work done, it seemed a good time. I liked it, it was a cool idea and I thought they pulled it off well with a reasonable believability factor.

Inception was good, ignore these naysayers.

It WAS good. That’s my point. But it could’ve been great, and it wasn’t.

I bought the limited edition (not so limited in England :hmph: ) and it came with a replica of Cob’s top :3 .

Reservoir Dogs
5/5
What a great film. Loved the characters, loved the dialogue, loved the cinematography. And it had the voice of Steven Wright. Would definitely recommend.

Furious Five, the most recent fast & furious film.

Actually? Surprisingly good. Well, I mean, big, stupid, slow to get into…but my god, the car chase at the end made up for it. They really came through with the big stunts/hilariousness of the situation.

They dragged a bank vault down a street and used it as a wrecking ball? Sorry if you’re too high and mighty to enjoy that kind of thing, but it was puerile, big on stunts, and absolutely fucking hilarious.

As a film in general? probably 6/10

Judged on the final car chase alone? 9/10

So basically Siggs I should search on youtube for the final scene and only watch that. :stuck_out_tongue:

indeed

The name of the movie is actually Fast Five. Unless you’re making an ubiquitous joke on the film’s title.

…just say yes, so we can move on.

Implying I care that much.

Moneyball - 5/5
I don’t really have that much to say about this one. I liked it a lot. Maybe I should mention how much time Brad Pitt spent on the screen eating? Who knows.

X-Men First Class.

Best X-Men movie so far.

The Big Lebowski.

I don’t know, it’s a bit… strange…

Primer again

We tried drinking a glass of vodka everytime someone time travelled. Shit made much more sense after a while.

I don’t know, I think that title goes to X-Men 2. Also, First Class sort of steamrolled the previous canon. In X-Men 3 (shit movie though that was), Magneto and Professor X are shown together recruiting Jean Grey for the school, and Professor X is still able to walk. I don’t know which of the two is comic-book-official.

All we know is that X-men 3 would have been significantly better if Hayter and Singer hadn’t done that shitty Superman movie.

They’re supposed to be of the same canon, but it seems there’s a bit of a conflict there. It had been awhile since I had seen X3, so I didn’t pick that up when I saw First Class. They really shouldn’t have crossed that line.

I’ve always figured that when movies conflict, the better movie wins out.

“Better” movie, right. I don’t think that applies here. I’m just going to do with X3 and First Class what I did with the Star Wars prequels, the second half of End of Evangelion, and Transformers 2 and 3 - erase them from my memory and pretend they never existed.
