The Last Film You Saw.

I love you Philip Morris. surprisingly good film w. jim carey. worth a download

The first half of 2001: a Space Odyssey. I’d have watched the rest, but everyone was else was complaining about it being boring.

It was generally slow, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I’m not going to rate it until I’ve seen it in its entirety.

It was kinda fun catching all the little details, like the symbolism and the tiny IBM logo.

you mean dying

Mortality is a pretty good excuse for quitting something, don’t you think?

I never said it had to be slow-mo, but most of the game involved shooting fools in the face, while very little of the movie involved that activity.

I watched the pilot of Twin Peaks yesterday. It has potential to be really awesome, or really meh. I hope I find it to be the former.

I liked Max Payne. As I’ve stated before, I’ve never actually played the games, so I can’t really say I had the perspective of knowing what goes on in the game versus what the movie portrays. Still not a bad watch.

Its true. They changed the whole story and not a single shooting match the game. In fact, the flick totally destroys the game’s scenario but the way it depicts the atmosphere, the lighting and adding an oppressive feeling to the overall is brilliant.

I really didn’t like most of the film, regardless of how true it is to the games.

In the end, its only a question of taste.

why didn’t Palin use it to quit being Governor…

I think that goes without saying for pretty much everything.

Last movie I saw was The Rite. Pretty good, but you have to appreciate Christian nuance to really get what the movie’s trying to say. It’s an interesting look at how contemporary Christian churches today don’t even bother with exorcism as a practice (or even a reality), while the Catholic Church still actively teaches it.

Watched most of Courage Under Fire today. Could have been a really good movie if it wasn’t for Meg Ryan.

a cross the universe
barely blurred gaspard penis gives it a 6/5

Shutter Island

Excellent movie. Definitely twisted.

I don’t know why but I’m assuming you’d like this:

I saw the second half of The Maltese Falcon and Lucky Number Slevin this afternoon. I enjoyed what I saw of both of them (I have seen the whole thing of Slevin, or I wouldn’t have sat through the second half on commercial TV today).

lucky number slevin is great

Indeed.

Recently I’ve seen Titan A.E. Kind of old but still pretty cool for an animated film… Also found a 720p version of the original 1982 Tron but haven’t had time to watch it yet.

I loved Tron when I was little, but then my mom taped over it :frowning:
When I watched it again last year though, I didn’t think it was very good.
