The Last Film You Saw.

Never.

I bet you’ve got a calculator and a computer.

Nerd.

All in one.

And it doubles as a notepad. So long, pocket protector!!!

Red - 8/10

(500) Days Of Summer - 5/10

Perfume (Das Parfum) - 7.5/10

Hangover - 7/10

Faster - better than I expected but I wouldn’t watch it twice. Recommended in a ‘sort of want’ way.

Fight club - I’d seen it so long ago I couldn’t remember what it was about. So it was pretty awesome. Would recommend but everybody’s seen it anyway.

Let me in - some creepy fucked up shit right there. Ain’t gonna give you nightmares but pretty disturbing at some points. Good nevertheless.

The Other Guys. It was decent. Had a good amount of laughs, but I’d only recommend it if you’re a fan of Will Ferrell or Marky Mark. Their characters are both so bizarre that it’s kinda hard to believe them, even for a comedy.

Prince of Persia 8/10

I never played any of the games, so I can’t tell what they got right or wrong, and I don’t really care. It was a fun movie and I would watch it again.

Now Prince of Persia was indeed a good movie! Especially, considering it’s based on a computer game.

The last movie I saw is Star Trek (2009), I found it really good and entertaining, even for those (like me) who are not really Star Trek fans.

Tonight, I think I’ll watch Avatar’s director’s cut… again.

Tried to watch it some time ago but failed miserably about 15 minutes into it.

:brow:
I insta-deleted it after watching.

Anyway, saw Departed (2006) about a week ago. Was very good, would recommend if you haven’t seen it.

Book of Eli – 8.5/10

wtf is this shit. Good movie lololz

srs:
True Grit 10/10
Jeff Bridges is the maaaaaaan

Max Payne

It could have been either an awesome cop drama or an awesome shoot 'em up flick. It failed at doing either well. The first ~2/3 was a pretty good buildup, and then it was pretty much “we’ve hold off long enough, let’s have Max start shooting fools now.” Now, out of a Max Payne movie, I would have expected it to have more shooting and less cop drama. Like, 85% action and 15% drama. But it didn’t. I’ll probably never watch it again and pretty much forget it exists now.

Silent Hill

I never beat any of the games, so I don’t know how much liberty they took with stuff (I got close to the end of the first one, don’t remember a cult living in the church) but it’s a pretty entertaining watch.

I saw District 9 last night. I thought it was terrific, a cool take on the issue of prejudice and segregation. As a rule, I don’t like sequel baiting (and honestly, I think this movie doesn’t necessitate one) but I guarantee I’ll see it if it comes to fruition.

Batman begins and the dark knight. I’m amazed at how decent a movie can be made about a comic character. Do watch those if you haven’t.

The shining. I didn’t like at all. Maybe I just can’t recognize a masterpiece when I see one, but I think the movie shows it’s age way too much.

Also,

I totally disagree. Max Payne is not your average rambo flick and 85% of bullet time action would be boring. And it would piss matrixfags…

God damn Heath Ledger for redefining a major character and then giving up on acting.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Imagine if Keanu Reeves got in a fatal car accident after having done The Matrix.

:hmph:

Thatsthefuckingjoke.

You mean we would have been saved from those horrible sequels?

And I love Boondock Saints. Saints 2 not so much, but the first one was great. No matter what you saying.

Did I say that was a bad thing?

donnie darko again
god damn that film is good, best film of last decade that i’ve seen/can think of atm imo
