Since when was it “the Nolan trilogy”? What’s stopping him from making a fourth and a fifth?
The Warner Brother producers who are already planning on rebooting the movies again.
I’m pretty sure it was always meant to be a trilogy… correct me if I’m wrong.
I never heard the term “the Dark Knight Trilogy” until trailers started coming out to hype this new one.

The Dark Knight Rises midnight screening last night.
Really enjoyed the film, although it didn’t have the same wow effect that TDK did when I came out of the cinema.
Also, did not expect to see Superman in it!!!
I just remembered something,
When Heath Ledger died, everyone had their panties in a bunch because they hoped he-the-Joker could keep being a villain in the movies.

I though it was a trilogy too, but it sure seemed to set up for a next movie.
Also Superman seemed really out of place.
Yeah. His whole “fly around the world really fast to reverse time and save Batman from the [COLOR=‘Black’]giant nuclear explosion” was kind of a bullshit deus ex machina, even more so than the Christopher Reeve film.

Dark Knight Rises
Fantastic movie. I would say better than the original Dark Knight overall. The Joker made the Dark Knight but this movie was just all around fantastic.
Another one for Dark Knight Rises.
I don’t know why they had him in the movie, but at least this time Crane’s role was more important than in The Dark Knight.
I enjoyed it much more than The Dark Knight. It has pacing more like Batman Begins, which is what I liked so much about the first movie, and why I was disappointed with the second.
Saw Independence Day for the first time. With Rifftrax. Pretty good stuff.

Dark Knight Rises. Friggin’ perfect. Well, maybe not, but I was blown away. Easily my favorite of the trilogy. It just concludes everything fantastically. Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle is awesomely sexy and cool and Tom Hardy as Bane is awesomely terrifying. Hans Zimmer really nailed the soundtrack, the chanting theme of Bane is chilling and Batman’s theme is epic. The only problem is that there won’t be any more Nolan Batman movies. The way this one wraps it up, though, almost makes me not even care. 10/10.
