The Happy Topic

Can I say “people with blank shootin’ flippity floppy noodles”, or “men who cannot produce the juice” instead?

This topic makes me smile and I don’t quite know why.
I guess I just like the idea of being paid to wank. Can’t do that in Canada anymore. Not for banks, at least.

So, apparently the hospital and penitentiary levels in Arkham Asylum were supposed to be really scary.

If that’s true, I’m officially immune to horror games.

Not really scary, but creepy and unsettling.

Try Condemned: Criminal Origins. Then you’ll find out if you really are.

^yessssss

Or try some FEAR. Not the second or third, just the first. Doom 3 can be pretty scary if you wear headphones and play it in the dark. Amnesia: Dark Descent is scary as hell.

On topic: I have finally reached a total savings of 25,000 dollars WOOT

Amnesia was just annoying for me. It wasn’t scary at all.

It made me really uneasy the first time through. But after that, it was boring like most horror games.

A nilly willy?

despite everything my country is awesome, thanks to tax returns i now have almost €2500  (that’s a lot of money to me currently)

This very same country took €1100 from me to give it to low-life hippies like you!

Is “low” a synonym for “sober”? :bulb:

I gotta raise after only working in my position for a few months  granted it wasn’t a whole lot, but it still feels nice.

Canada is better. They are giving me people’s taxes to go to college+extra 600$/month for personal expenses. I’m currently learning Java, Android, iOS HTML5 and CSS, all paid by the government, no refund needed (except for the days that I’m absent without justification).

I beat the system 8)

I’m anything but sober, I’m afraid.

No, that’s just Quebec.
Here in Ontario we basically only get student loans unless our old high schools or universities are feeling generous because we get great marks.

Belgium’s got free scholarships for anyone who needs it, you can fail up to three times in a row before you no longer get a scholarship. There’s flaws, some people fall through the mazes of the system, and you still have to pay for books etc. (although there’s probably programs for that). But still, Belgium is pretty awesome all in all, let’s hope it stays that way.

Okay, I’m moving to Quebec and Belgium.

Tough luck, but for some reason I think the average Belgian civilian would rather live next door to a Muslim than next door to an American.

Oddly enough, you can be both…

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
