The best browser?

LMFAO…firefox wins

it is also very lonely to die in a cold damp ditch (my dreams about ie6)

Firefox > Opera > Chrome > Steam Game Overlay Browser > IE > Safari

anyone who votes for IE is an idiot lol
Every other browser depends on what you want and what you’re using. All round firefox offers speed, secuirty, pre-installed plugins, many fun customizable features and plenty of add ons (For downloading youtube vids and so on)
If you don’t care for anything other then speed, simplicty and secuirty, chrome is the one for you
Opera is a great for those who love to download and “share” files, it’s also fast, nice looking and user friendly
Safari is great solely if you own a Mac
Internet explorer is great if you love viruses, spyware, countless ads, hair pulling out install this and that plugins, slow speed and may occasionaly crash on you

I love Firefox but they’ve got to do something about the memory leakage. An Internet browser shouldn’t be using 1.5+ gigabytes with just a few tabs!

Right now, I’m sticking with Chrome until Mozilla can fix their browser.

In OSX, Safari blows the others out of the water, on Windows (like iTunes) it’s quite clumsy and slow.

Chrome is good, but Iron is better :3

I’ve only tried Windows Explorer and Firefox, obviously I liked Firefox a hell of a lot more - don’t know about Chrome or Safari.

Chrome because it’s high speed, the interface is nice and efficient, and now that it supports extensions and themes it’s easy to customize to fit your needs.

I will admit, though, that chrome can be confusing the first day or two because I remember like the bookmark bar isn’t default visible and it requires a keyboard shortcut to bring back.

My friend uses Chrome,

Meh i am too addicted to firefox. I used to use IE,though.

Also you know IE is useless when they start creating software that intergrates Google Chrome features into IE:

https://code.google.com/chrome/chromeframe/

The only reason why I’m using Chrome over Firefox is that when I reinstalled my Windows, Firefox didn’t work properly. So, I downloaded Chrome and got used to it after a day or two. Now, when Firefox is finally working properly, I am too used to Chrome to go back to it.

I personally use Firefox atm but I have several backups if my borwser fails on me. This includes chrome, opera and ie aka the uselss shithead browser.

Changed to Iron today from chrome, it is quite a bit better. Although it does get annoying that it will not set itself as default browser no matter how many times i tell it.

I prefer firefox because I can go into C:\Users\Sersoft\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and backup/restore all my settings which includes addons, bookmarks, browsing history, cookies and passwords.

As a web developer, Firefox wins because of all the useful plugins.

However if I was a regular user, I’d probably go Chrome for speed.

I used to use Opera, but some major shopping baskets (including Paypal) didn’t support it and wouldn’t let you use them. However, it did have many useful features that Firefox and many others didn’t/don’t as standard. These days I’m sure it’s fine for compatability but I have no reason to change back.

IE8 is fine, nothing special but not bad. IE7 sucks balls, and the less said about 6 the better. I’m sure may of you will think saying IE8 is ok is some kind of blasphemy, but really it’s a good browser. Trust me, I’m a web designer.

Also, I have to leave it there as my dinner’s in the oven… :o

Chome + Hello Kitty theme all the way!

The only thing I don’t like about chrome is it’s ultra minimalistic layout and interface.

anybody remember Maxthon?

But seriously, Chrome FTW.

Being a web designer myself, I hate IE8. And it’s not a matter of preference, this is IE8’s result on acid3:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
