The Anatomy of a Zombie...

…probably…

Doing the Curly Shuffle with someones head in your mouth.
I have to try that.

That sounds mildly wrong…

It simply goes like this: Headcrab attaches to the human’s head, After a hour of screaming, The stomach burst’s and expose the gut’s and the rib’s, Another hour later, His breathing and vocal cords have been damaged, Hence, he talks backwards, Another hour again, His movement has been changed. Another hour again, His hand’s mutate to long claws. YOU NOW HAVE A ZOMBIE! CONGRATULATION! now kill it…

Maybe its a little off-topic, but here some zombie classifications made by me:

What do u think?

I like the Assassin Zombie :3

I’m pretty sure anyone with a normal headcrab can turn into a Gonome.

Yeah, sort of. But i show just an example for a tiny scientist zombie. But can u imagine what kind of gonome is gonna be zombine after mutation:fffuuu:

Yeah, huge ass zombie that throws grenades at you.

Is that combine assassin one fan art?

No, it’s a scrapped zombie.

EDIT: Oh wait, you weren’t talking about the zombie one. Oh well, they’re both scrapped enemies.

This do sounds like a simple recipe.
How to create a Zombie:
What you will need :

 1. One Headcrab, normal one is the easiest to get.
 2. One Living being, Human or Combine.

How to create it:

 1. Place one Headcrab on the living Persons head.(If the host is dead, this may not work!)
 2. Wait for it to finish the transformation.
 3. You got a Zombie! Now start to run for your life.

That’s pretty much it. Am I right? :awesome:

Haha. This has kind of gone off the original question, while staying true to the title. My question was how does the headcrab magically end up facing forwards after attack from the front which would end up with it facing backwards?

The combine soldiers you are talking about are humans. The Hunters, Stridesr, and Gunships are Combine Soldiers (in a VERY strange way) too.

When I was refering to the “Combine” I was refering to the Humanoid Combine, and not the Synths ;b, otherwise a good observatiion.

I have a little theory of how the headcrab and it’s host works:

The normal headcrab:

It gets attached to it’s host body without killing it but mutating it, after that it doesn’t really damage the brain only the nervous system of everything under the neck, after it it can controll it’s victims body without controlling the mouth or the eyes. How it also haven’t got eyes it maybe senses movement by something but that’s out of how I could work so I don’t care of how he sees you.

Normal headcrab on zombines:

It does like the normal zombie but how it’s victim has a helm it brokes it’s head and also controlls the victims comunicator.

The fast headcrab:

after being mutated by the combine this 1 is one of those wich doesn’t let even the brain of it’s victim, It controlls everything.

The black/poison headcrab:

same as fast but it can also attach to the victims back.

Gonome:

This isn’t a headcrab mutation. Is a zombie mutation caused by the radioactivity of black mesa after black mesa got nuked it has completely dissapeared… for now (maybe it will return in ep3?).

That’s all n thnx for readin’

The Gonome isn’t canon so I don’t think it’ll return

Wrong assassin

Darn, so badass.

Dias, you right, this will do:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
