The Adventures of Lil Cthulu

I don’t know what to make of this…

D’aww.

Stop at 1:21

The Irony cracks me up :smiley:

!= Irony

exclamation mark equals irony?

Aww, how cute, and insanity-inducing evil. Lol at Dagon :smiley: . And holy crap, Azathoth looks like a bunch of grapes :fffuuu: .

“The Blind Idiot God and Master of All Creation and Chaos”

Ah… That explains so much.

Cthulhu offers you some flowers. Oh, and before you ask, this is where the pretty bows came from.

I pronounce R’leh and Nyarlathotep waaay differently.

!= means ‘not equal to.’

K, Ill file that away under inventive uses of typed text.

Anything with tentacles on its face makes me sick. That and jelly fish. Eurgh.

It’s used in many programming languages.

I thought that != was pretty common knowledge, even if you don’t program…

I would have thought that was only known to programmers. Why would it come up in everyday conversation?

Probably not in-person conversation, but believe it or not, most programmers use the Internet.
Therefore they would use it in conversations on the Internet (as in the example above).

Because it’s a useful shorthand?

How do you pronounce them? They’re basically pronounced exactly as they’re spelled.

R’lyeh - Rlyeh
Nyarlathotep - Nyahr-lah-thoh-tehp

Someone really needs to make either movies or TV shows out of all Lovecraft’s stories. I know that Guillermo del Toro is making an At the Mountains of Madness movie that I hope is good. The HPLHS has made a couple movies as well.

And here’s an awesome image just because.

Awesome imaeg is awesome!

For Nyarlathotep, the woman in the video puts the emphasis on LA part but I put it on the THO part. Kinda hard to describe.
As for R’leh, I pronounce it like Ril-ee-eh.
