How about instead of us just wondering when the next media release is going to be, you supply a link on faceboook with a countdown timer to the next release? In the fashion of the fan counter that Hubicorn gave us.
I think, imho, that it would go a long way to culling a simple frustration as well as giving us a point to look forward to.
It’s the next best thing to a release date. Mull it over.

Yeah, really. That way we would know if the timetable for this media release is really spread out our not -we really have no idea if we should expect new screenshots in weeks, or if we are here waiting for summer to be over, or hell, maybe 2012. I don’t know about a countdown on facebook, that’d just frustrate a lot of people (“Why don’t just relese them now?! whine whine”), but you could at least give some vague direction here in the forums…

Word of mouth is pretty sweet. It also shows that people are really looking forward to the mod.

I don’t know what’s the exact point of the whole social marketing campaing, but if it’s “building up the hype” then yes: It has to be a predictable process otherwise you will just end up with waves of people losing interest with the subject.
