Although, I also understand that the devs would want to make sure they have people’s attention when they finally do break that silence. They could’ve approached this more elegantly though.

Most people don’t know that progress is being made because it’s no longer plastered on the front page which is the first place you would look, it was either put updates on the page and have people complain about every little detail, or stay silent and lead people to believe your’re dead, the devs made their choice, though I don’t agree with it entirely.
Mods said numerous times, that everything’s mostly finished, just bugs need to be fixed. At Rock, Paper, Shotgun it was mentioned that mod will be released “soonish”. And now suddenly mods, after mentioning that they don’t want to stir up the community for nothing, put this 20k Facebook movement.
I bet for soundtrack release and web page update.
This would make perfect sense if not for this
This does not make too much sense because:

There’s been a lot of speculation that we have been doing nothing but polish for the last year or longer. This is simply not true. There were and are still parts of the game that we are actively developing, because the game isn’t done yet.
:fffuuu:
Hey, so I haven’t been around in a while, but this seems new. Full tracklist for BM:

Use javascript to see when it was last modified. June 10th (today).
This could be related. This could be the media that’s dropping. And like the devs said before, 2 weeks after the soundtrack is released, the mod is coming out. Unless that’s changed.
That’s old news.
Shitty.
Still, it’s modified today. Could mean something. Okey, let’s not get to optimistic.
Nah, it just regenerates the page each time someone visit’s it, so the date modified is always the time you loaded the page.
Guys, start hitting steam groups, I’m pretty sure the official steam group has over 20,000 members.
Oh, I see :retard:
I know it only gets about 3 views a month but it’s now on the BMS Media youtube channel as well.
This is incredibly stupid but I do want to know what’ll happen at 20,000 likes.
Come out of your caves, children! The time of new light is upon us!

11,748! Amazing work! We got about 1,000 in 2 hours which is an outstanding pace.
Edit: 11,766 after a minute posting.
This is pretty impressive, actually.
I think I’ll be at work when we hit 20k. Should I call in sick?
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
