The 20,000 Facebook Likes Challenge

It’s not mine yet as I haven’t downloaded it. As for the personal insults, they work great. You, the crying bitch troll needed to reply. It works great with nerd kids who will only see a nude woman on a website or in a DVD movie. the proof is in your reply.

don’t be a pussy and repost this on your regular forum handle

Woah there broseph, you’ve already established your bitterness, there is no need to talk about your lack of a sex life in these forums. there are kids like you in here for christ’s sake

If I was trolling, I would’ve called BMS bad or something. No, I don’t think it’s bad nor am I trying to get a kick out of you. I’m simply giving my opinion that I don’t think it will end up being released. I suppose having a realistic opinion these days gets you looked down to as a madman though.

Yeah, they clearly only started this media campaign because they were bored not because the release is relatively soon.

On behalf of all those who have been following this mod since '06, I can safely say the vast majority of us truly appreciate all of the work that goes into this piece of software. Despite what all of the trolls say, we have looked forward to this mod since we have found out about it, and still can’t wait to play it.
Muchas Gracias to all of the devs.

There you go, I fixed that up your ya.

I more and more wish such a ‘Protection’ would be possible.

Why the fuck would they start the release media ramp-up if the game wasn’t near release-level quality?

They already overpromised and blew one big release date, they made it pretty clear that they wouldn’t make that mistake again.

Wow, the devs were right. There will always be people who complain about good news. I’m glad the dev team thinks it’s close enough to start hyping people again. All I can hope for now is to forget about the mod until it releases in a few months hopefully.

“Got any proof to back this up? Becuase that’s been said for years now and all they’ve been doing is showing reworked media.”

Got any proof to back this up? It’s been said by the developers that polishing, along with some minor development have taken up the past year or so.

“Writing good code and fixing bugs isn’t hard, and I’m sure lots of bugfixing will come after release (if it’s ever released). Like I said, I’m guessing it’s just done as profile fluff and they’re taking people for a ride.”

It can be hard, obviously you haven’t coded before. Also, if this is guessing, then why are you throwing it into people’s faces? Why are you trying (and failing badly) to ruin peoples excitement over the mod with, by your own admission, guesses? Either speak facts or don’t speak at all.

“So? It’s still stupid and drumming up hype over a few pictures, they’ve been releasing small pieces of media for years and mostly to troll their fans more than anything.”

You see, they’ve been releasing media for quite a while now on the wiki. But, since you have the IQ of a houseplant, I guess the thought never occurred to check on the wiki.

“Uh, yes I do, I’ve dabbled into modding quite a bit in the past and it is by no means easy. That said, it’s been over 8 years, countless people I’ve worked on BMS, and they still seem erratic. Sometime they’ll stay silent for a year, other times they’ll release a lot and tell you “it’s coming”. Like I said, BMS is clearly just portfolio fluff at this point. I’m sure more than a few key devs will be offered or have already taken jobs in the industry and will use it as an excuse when the day BMS finally dies.”

No, you don’t understand. You do not understand. You’ve only “dabbled” in modding. These people have spent all of their free time developing the mod, which is different then dabbling.

“Pointless and childish insult over someone having a different opinion than you. Heh.”

Nothing you haven’t done. If the mod is just portfolio fluff and not actually going to be released, why waste your time here? Go play with your action figures, or whatever kids do.

So I can understand some people thinking the mod was dead during blackout, but it takes a very special kind of person to wait till the end of blackout and the beginning of the release buildup to say that it will never get released.

Gentlemen (and lady, if there is one) Look at where New Castle Australia is on Google Maps (in satellite view)… now I think I finally, completely, understand why development has taken so long… Ram lives in fucking paradise!!!.. He lives right on the Tasman Sea coast! AND Sydney is just short drive away along that same coast.

I consider myself a pretty lucky bastard in terms of wife, career, home… things are pretty effing good. But I can assure you, if I lived THERE, my productivity would be cut in half… I think we should all be very jealous of Mr. Junek… if only for his location. And my hat goes off to him for being able to get anything done under his very fortunate circumstances.

Thanks for all you do Ram!!! (and obviously ALL of the other devs too!!)

Learn to a catch a joke. You’d think the CAPS LOCKS and exaggerated wording would have tipped you off…but no, you were too dense.

Yeah, I think ‘special’ is probably the right word.

LOL

I propose that the IP Address of every one of these whiney little bitches be logged so that after the release of the mod they cannot go and create a new profile to say how awesome it is and instead are forced to keep the same profile with all of the bitching, trolling, and naysaying attached.

Maybe even a little badge or custom rank to denote their arrogant stupidity.

Sort of like the swastika forehead carving from inglorious basterds!

Oh man, I can see everyone porting as much as they can to Gmod after this mod is released.

We might even get the first “coop” mode through Gmod, but only if some of the good coders are willing to take up the project.

Awww, love you too! <3

I’ve been waiting since 2010. Yeah, I’m pretty slow at finding something new and even more slow at getting it. But I appreciate the work as much as any other truly loyal fan of Black Mesa.

So excited right now.

excited enough to rock?

Possible, but don’t work. It’s the same as a anti piracy fight on the internet, useless.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
