Thanks to all you assholes I'm moving to Washington.

So its no surprise to anyone that has even peeked into this forum that this place is overran with dick heads and assholes, but with all that being said this place has actually changed my life for the better (shocking I know).

It all started a month or so ago when someone posted the Valve employee handbook. That got me daydreaming about how cool it would be to work for Valve. Daydreaming led to a discussion with the wife which has now turned into a reality. She works in computers and always thought it would be amazing to move to WA and get a job with one of the many tech giants out there and I am finishing up my bachelors of fine arts and now I’m determined to get a job in the gaming industry (hopefully, eventually Valve) doing concept art.

So even though I have always just resigned my self to the idea of staying in Indiana and probably eventually becoming an art professor, y’all have at least planted the idea in my head to follow my dream, for that I thank you.

Anyways now in all you typical dick head manner I’m sure you will all assure me that I’ll never make it and that I’m dumb or whatever, so let’s let the “congratulations” commence!

tl;dr even though you all are jerks you have somehow inspired me to follow my dreams, thanks!

My dream was to go to america but I ended up in French Canada… I wanted to learn how to write code, but when I met a few programmers I realized that programming is not for me, so I dreamed of opening a PC repair shop, but then GeekSquad stole all my clients, I wanted to make a new PDA but then iPhone came out. I wanted to make CS levels but when my maps all sucked I decided that my dream became to be the best at photoshop, but when I saw what some people can do with it my dream became to smoke weed and let time pass by.
