TF2's Blood brothers comic, Man vs Machine is close. The game's second ARG

You can play with me.
[/sympathy]

There is no concept of Sympathy Here,

DAMN! the video gives chills, looks like something secret is stalking us, and is very angry…someone out there really wants us to be dead, someone or something…

his name is Gray Mann.

Down to try it when it comes out, if I’m not busy. It would be great to set up a game with other BM forum members, because none of my IRL friends play TF2 either.

Alright, MVM Comes tonight. Shall we place our thoughts of gameplay when it comes out? You know, talk about if it’s balanced, about tricks to beat the bots, the new boosts that you can buy in the upgrade shop, effective ways to use teamwork, etc…

Of course we should. Looks very cool.

Sounds more like Killing Floor than Left 4 Dead tbh

Sounds awesome though, can’t wait to play!

So is anybody else not able to access their items, or get on a co-op server, or just me? Something about not being connected to the TF2 game coordinator?

in my case is not being able to find a not full server that isn’t from Valve

my experience for now:

-try out waiting list, get stuck at ~60minutes waiting time
-search manually for servers, find plenty of empty servers, only 6 players, the fuck what?!
-find server with 1 player, can’t connect, repeat
-find server with 1 player and connect, it fucking works, alright the robots are almost here, the robots spawn, L L L L L L LL L AAA A AA G G
-FUCK THIS!!!

my experience of gameplay:
Playin’ alone: 1st wave defeated me. The soldierbots are problematic if you’re alone
Playin’ with 5 more people:
Co-operation is always needed here, the bots are dumb as hell but they know how to aim.
The Soldierbots and the Demobots are the worst as they spawn often, come in large groups and will shoot thousands of projectiles at you if they manage to get you in range, I highly recommend having some medics or dispensers close by because many of the times you won’t get into a health kit alive. Upgrade your primary weapon a lot, and if you are a spy upgrade your sapper and then upgrade your knife to be armor piercing and be able to stab giants. Also I recommend Dead Ringer and L’etranger as it will save your life more than what you expect. As a heavy Upgrade your primary weapon and your speed, I recommend taking down projectiles upgrade when the soldiers and demos come in big groups.
As a pyro try to teamwork, if you go alone to the frontline you won’t stand much.

Oh and [COLOR=‘Red’]TRY TO GRAB AS MANY CREDITS AS YOU CAN! The more you have the more upgrades you can buy

You have to pay frickin money to get items from this. SCREW YOU VALVE :rage:

You pay money completely cosmetic items, so it’s no different than buying a hat from the store. That ticket does nothing to the gameplay itself, it doesn’t make you get into servers faster, it doesn’t make the game easier, nothing! Just those cosmetic items.

Unless you’re one of those filthy hardcore traders who overpice everything and claim those to be “so damn rare” and worth 10 vintage earbills.

Fucking hell, I’ve been trying for three days and still can’t get into a server.

Just got into one today. Hard as FUCK to survive, especially on the last wave. O.o

We did all 7 waves with a few people in chat a couple days back. Shit was crazy, but we did it.

Protip: DO NOT let giant scouts grab the bomb.

I learnt it the hard way…

BTW. if a tank appears with some giant robots, shoot the robots first and fast. Then concentrate all your crit canteens and all your ammo in the tank.

Then go back into kickin’ rwabot asses.
