I added about another 100 demos last night to about 255 demos killed. Hope it made the difference.

My final count was 1,252 dead soldiers.

And whilst i’d like the demo to win, i reckon the soldiers just got it.

Is anyone else confused as to why the soldier got a pick axe when it makes far more sense to make that a weapon for the engineer?

Yeah, I was wondering that. As cool as the mechanics of it are, they could have easily come up with a model more suited to the soldier. A trench spike, an old school shovel (maybe cracked/broken) or something else…

Well that implies a rifle of some sort, which would be cool, but would give you two melee weapons.
