Hmmmm, those screens look upscaled. Is it possible the console versions are actually running internally at a sub-hd resolution but then upscaled to 720p or 1080p like the CoD games?
Well rot’s were a lot lower res (you can open them in a new tab and they work), so they’re probably upscaled from that.
It’s not like I care, I’m getting it for PC, but what’s the point of making games for consoles capable of rendering games in HD if you can’t make them HD?
Well there is the choice. Does the devolper value the resoultion or other things? CoD drops it so they can get a smooth 60 FPS afaik. Well other devs are willing to settle with 30 fps. Now a game like TES I am sure there are a lot of things more important (as deemed by Beth) taking up video memory.
