TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

Got it on Steam. It’s supposed to unlock at midnight, the very crack of the 11th, so all night is best night for me. Nothing happens for me thursday and friday, so it’s sleep Thursday, play all day/night Friday, hate myself all day Saterday.

It unlocks at midnight and then you spend forever waiting to play it because of the day one patch.

Any news on pre-loading?

I figure it should start tomorrow at the soonest. Pre-loads on Steam usually start 3-4 days before release.

Steam’s gonna roll over and die.

I hope so, with the amount of people downloading and my shitty connection speeds I won’t have it for another day after release anyway.

Also, I’ll just leave this here.

DAMNIT SKYRIM, COME OUT…CANT…WAIT…ANY…LONGER…

2 days man, keep it cool.

Damn you day one players… I’m gonna have to wait 'till Christmas to play it. :frowning:

It looks… beyond words

Should I be excited about Skyrim? I’ve never played an Elder Scrolls game before.

Yes, very excited. Get Skyrim, no questions asked.

I’ll wait until it’s less than $60 first, I think.

No, you won’t.

Anyone have a time on that bloody pre-load? All I’ve found is old news saying “a few days before” and we are rapidly aproaching “a couple days before”.

The consolefags are already playing, I’d atleast like to watch it download.:hmph:

…are you going to gift it to me? Because otherwise, yes. I am. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not so obsessed with videogames that I have to have the newest and shiniest the second it hits the shelves.

…well, unless it’s a Half-Life game.

I don’t even do that with half life. Skyrim is pretty much the only game I can think of that I would be happy to preorder and not feel the slightest bit bad about missing any sales later.

/\ this

It’s $59.99 right now

But I’m gonna wait, too. Remember that time we preordered portal 2 and then 1 month later it was 30 bucks? Fuck that time. Fuck it hard. Even if Skyrim doesn’t see a price reduction any time soon, I don’t mind the wait.
