I just had a dream that I found a torrent of the E3 build and i got to play through all the parts that they showed and a little more with for some reason slightly worse graphics in my dream.
so SUCK IT.
Oddly enough, that was only a small part of my dream. Most of it consisted of trying to climb ladders that were too tiny for me to get a decent grip on.

I thought it had to do with a fear that Skyrim like its predecessors will not have working ladders.
DF had ladders.
It did, but it functioned similar to the other TES games -use them, and transport to the top, or in later games “load” the top part so it’s easier to explain.
They should have just implemented them though - climbing was in, and that basically worked how it needed to just without an actual ladder
I approve of this idea - everybody lets petition bethesda to have climbable ladders for once.
I thought Oblivion/Fallout’s way of using ladders as a loading door was perfectly fine.
I thought Half life/L4D’s way of using ladders was better.
BUT IT BRAKES DA EMERSION
It would probably depend on how similar this game is in regards to loading areas to oblivion. If they tried to make it more in game, and made some inside areas not need loading then it might make sense to take loading screen ladders out for climbable ones. It could also allow for more diverse dungeons, having ladders go up to certain platforms hanging above you rather then just going into another room or having to look for steps up, and stuff like that.
i’m seeing sequences of Dark Messiah: Might and magic on the source engine of me kicking and slashing opponents off the top of the 40ft ladder that they just scaled to get to the top of the platform where i wait with a smile and an unsheathed sword.
What i’m saying is that with ladders, they could be used to cheat gameplay and combat. It would make it funner i guess though if you could ragdoll npc’s while they were after you climbing a ladder and fell to the bottom only having to restart their climb over and over again unless they reached enough fall damage to kill them. Lol.

You want climbable ladders… I want to ride a unicorn and have a pink bunny for a companion animal and I want my armour to have fairy wings that flap naturally when I get excited.
I want the ability to decapitate the fuck out of corpses and paint the white snow in bright crimson blood. 
I want a mod to kill everyone who downloads mods that make the game more like Final Fantasy.
