Gameplay > anything
Personality’s swell, and I don’t bash it for that - - but there are some things in life where personal preference would have you not want a personality. For example, I think toilets should have as little personality as possible.
fun factor > gameplay.
TFC had very little fun factor, no matter how tiki’s trying to defend it’s balance, mechanics and “gameplay”
TF2 has better graphics, so (obviously) it is better.
Pounds fist
Do I win? :awesome:
why is it a left fist
It seems we got a mystery on our hands!
Takes on Detective Cap
Why does it matter?
It’s not a left fist…
fuck me, you’re right, and your avatar is perfect for that post
i failed there
You win a broken screen.
Sentries are easy to take down, you just need some teamwork.
…Guess you didn’t need teamwork at all in TFC.
Well, I do have to ammit, when I want to play a multiplayer serious, I play FF. Well…I want to. I’m just too lazy to google it.
There tons of fast paced, military/realistic, individually driven/non-team work, grenade filled shooters. I like Team Fortress 2 better.
It gets major points for originality. I like the stylized look of the game even if they had a full graphic revamp of tfc I would prefer tf2 art style. It works well and helps with class readability. I find its theme more interesting. Not to say that its hard to tell the different classes in tfc. I like the personality of the characters now. Although even more
so then other things art style is an unwinable argument since its ALL opinion.
I like the slow pace in tf2 better because it makes for more strategy. In fast paced games like tfc it boils down to aim. I have never been a pro sniper type crazy aim guy, I’m not bad but not great. I enjoy things that make a player skilled other then the aim.
The one problem with tf2 is that i feel that we’re just beta testers for tf3, the relatively unrefined and unbalanced on release updates can get annoying. They normally work it out but I can’t seem to get why they did some things but I would rather have the addition updates then nothing at all.
Overall tfc is a good game but tf2 wins for originality.
Yeah, well that just boils down to opinion. For me running around with almost useless weapons, getting killed and spawning 3 years later isn’t fun. Then again for others sprinting across a map and getting sniped 8 times in a row isn’t either.
Grr.
but the 9th time, the 9th time when you swim all the way around them and flank the sniper, makes it all worth it
oh, easy as pie,
- One man to get killed and find the sentry
- Another to annoy the engineer
- One more to verify the sentry’s location and kill the engy
- Another to shoot at the sentry and distract it
- One last guy to shoot at the distracted sentry and finish it with a grenade
