Sydney Harbour Bridge map

This is last year’s render of my Sydney Harbour Bridge map

Brushes or models?

If that is brushes… wow! I sure hope they are func_detail :expressionless:

Either way. That is awesome.

I func_detailed the entire bridge structure.

needs more speed camera’s.

:jizz:

That shouldn’t be cool, but somehow, it is!

One slight thing I noticed:

EDIT:
Also, the lighting could do with… some work.

i like it lol but i thought this was gonna bea map for the bridge as if someone cud get lost on a bridge haha. But i like it is it gonna be for css?

Thanks. No, it’ll be for Half Life 2 Deathmatch. I made it about 1/10th of the actual size because it would take a LOT of time to go from one end to the other considering it’s about 1.2 miles in real life:

I’ll have it so that there’s the maintenance level too, under the traffic there’ll be an other level to the bridge full of metal and motors and stuff.

I point out something wrong and you don’t reply… FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

I already fixed that. I think i’ll just remake the level entirely and make a model for the bridge structure cause it’s hell to optimize it.

It takes quite a while to walk across it, I would know. Also, don’t forget to put security cameras everywhere.

Here’s how it looks in Hammer

Things like this make me wish I was good at computer-related stuff.

I think the lighting would be much more interesting if it were at an angle instead of perfect noon.

Thanks, I’m trying to find a way to put the militia skybox in the map but I don’t know how. Anyway here’s some updates to the map:

(I zoomed out so much that the skybox disappeared in this one)

Under the bridge

I found out I can make it for CS: Source also. So maybe I can import that skybox after all, at least for the counter Strike version of the map. (I really don’t like the cloudiness of Half Life 2 skyboxes.)

hey thats pretty damn good, I like this!

Maybe some kind of link?

I’m not done. I know it’s way off, I’m making it the actual width but about 1/10 of the actual length (with the same amount of supports)
