May I suggest the option of bots in servers in Deathmatch? Much like in Counter-Strike: Source.

Let’s worry about Single Player first, any multiplayer discussion will be ignored and forgotten at least until the SP comes out.

Yeah, I agree.

But I do hope that the devs go liberal with deathmatch and allow for cool stuff like that. I think bots would be cool, too.

I was thinking, what if someone wanted a small server with just one or 2 friends, but with bots playing as well.

While I do think this is a good idea, I’d rather just play CS: S to be perfectly honest. I don’t know, maybe BM: DM when it comes out will be awesome but I’ll probably be too senile to care by then.

I’m sure enough people will play online for you to not need bots even if you don’t have friends

Most of my friends don’t like HL: DM at all, but bots might be interesting for lan games
