Stuck in 1680x1050

My laptop has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and I’ve been playing quite happily at that resolution for a while now. However, shenanigans forced me to play on an external monitor with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 for a few days, and I have returned to my original screen to find that the game is still at 1680 x 1050 without presenting a 1920 x 1080 option. The external monitor currently is not even connected, and every other graphics-related setting on the computer reports the resolution as 1920 x 1080.

Try these Steam launch options: [tt]-width 1920 -height 1080[/tt]

Actually, I got the same result by manually altering the values in videoconfig.cfg. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, regardless.

Question is, why it didn’t change your resolution in-game like it’s suppose to…

At this point I believe very stupid bugs are intrinsic to the Source Engine

Does BM still separate resolutions between aspect ratios?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
