I downloaded a World of Warcraft trial once and this level 80 dude ran by and I was level 6 or so and he called me a noob but I dont mind because I wonder how much you have to play that game to become level 80.

Still, noob is different than newb. Newb includes the recognition that all people start out as newbies and with time will grow out of it. Noob carries the stigma of someone who is not only a newb, but also avoids and spurns any attempt to rise out of that position.

If it doesn’t apply to you, it doesn’t apply to you, pick yourself up and brush it off, cause on the internet, no one kisses your ass to make you feel better. Unless they think they can get something from you.

Well, basically, because of where it originated from, anyone who says noob sounds extremely nerdy, dorky, geeky, and all those things. Even though I spend plenty of time on the computer, I still hate it when myself or others come across as any of those things. So, unlike everyone else calling the OP a noob, I’m gonna say he’s a whiny little bitch… :stuck_out_tongue:
