Nice one! Goddamn it’s uncanny how much he sounds like him!

“We’re looking at a September release, don’t tell anyone”

…I didn’t make this up, listen to it!

trololololol

This is good. Yes, very good.

And this time for real, official ep is up.

Incredible that Kevin’s voice ages so convincingly for g-man. As Barney he definitely sounds younger than Shapiro, but that makes sense considering how old Barney should be in the context of Half-life 2.

For anyone young that’s actually tried (and I mean really practiced) to sound like a middle aged man, you know how seemingly impossible that junk is.

Edit: How old is Kevin? I’m assuming that he’s young because he said “my voice slowly but surely got deeper”.

The girl scream in vent is creeping me out.

Yeah, the female scientist’s voice actress is absolutely superb.

That’s a hell of a mom.

Sisk and Shapiro should have a Barney off.

Finally listened to the whole thing. Gotta say, I’m psyched.

Aren’t that is Catzeyes93?

Nope.

Mike Hillard’s mom did the scientist voices we heard in the video.

Catz just did the tram announcer and parts of the PA system I believe.

Yes, correct.
She did the HEV voice too, but we’re going to stick with Valve’s original recordings.

Really? Wiki says that CatzEyes’ recording will be used.

"While originally the HEV suit was intended to keep the original sounds from the Source SDK base, (which are the same as the sounds in Half-life) a new voice has been recorded by Victoria Teunissen. [1] The vocalisation for the battery percentage count (scrapped in Half-Life 2 and Episodes) was kept in the mod [2]. "

Because the Wiki is always going to be more up to date than the knowledge of a Lead Developer on the project.

I see your point, and I agree with you afterall. I was simply suprised about the decision over the voice of the HEV suit.

I want to hear catz’s recordings now

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
