Start new Game in Questionable Ethics?

Hi there,

I’m out of town for a week, and forgot to bring my Black Mesa savegame files with me. Does anyone know what I need to do to start a new game at the beginning of Questionable Ethics?

I’m familiar with sv_cheats, but I don’t know the command to load a map, weapons, etc, and I’m having trouble finding them.

Easy, brotha. All you need to do i think iz hit “New game” then pick that chappie.

Actually, he’s wrong. You need to use the “map” command. When you have a new install you can only start the chapters you’ve previously unlocked, but without the saves they will all be locked.

It works only if you reached this chapter with the game before. Otherwise if it’s a brand new BM install, you’ll be forced to start at the beginning.

What are the map names? I’m having trouble finding them.

c2a4e-f is questionable ethics. So command “map c2a4e” should place you at the beginning of that chapter.

just open the Dev console and type Sv_unlockedchapters “11” that will unlock all chapters to QE
