Stargate Fans?

Hey, just wandering if any of you are awaiting the new series of Stargate Universe, considering a lot of you are like me, id say there a large population of gamers that are into it, and have been for sometime.

Itā€™s one of my favourite series. Iā€™ve followed it since the Movie.
Iā€™ve yet to see Atlantis Season 5 thoughā€¦

Universe looksā€¦ grittier. I hope there will still be some sort of character tandem like Tealā€™c-Jack, Daniel-Jack, McKay-Sheppard, Ronon-Sheppard.

I think I liked the more lighthearted fun-feeling nature of Stargate Atlantis. Iā€™m not sure if I will care about Universe.

I think universe will deliver, i know what you mean though Ive come to love the series.

I think Season 5 of Atlantis was the best mate, watch it, but towards the end its a bit of a shut off, looks nicer though cause the filming is of a lot higher quality then the rest of the Atlantis series. :retard:

I dunno about Universe, It doesnā€™t look like it retains the classic stargate formula, it looks more like a drama show than a sci-fi. I guess Iā€™ll have to wait and see how the first episode plays out and then decide whether itā€™s true stargate or not.

Yeah, i mean a like all series, but SG-1 with RDA was soo much better in my opinion i loved the character he portrayed.

Also am i right in saying the american tv channel broadcasting this genres ā€œSci-Fiā€ is changing its name to ā€œSy-Fyā€ or so ive heard. :wink:

Stargate SG1 stopped being good after the 8th season - nothing good came after that :expressionless:

The riginal movie was superior anywaysā€¦

I will when it comes out here! The rest of the world always has to waitā€¦ meh Iā€™m too cheap for those overpriced television channels.

If you think about it the 1st season of Atlantis had sort of survival horror vibe to it too. Only this time they really use it to fuel the show, itā€™s worth a shot.

I liked the very first movie.

Anything after that, no, not really.

Strange, it donā€™t fell like a stargate related story (aside the stargate), looks like deadspace.

Actually for me its had the optisite effect, I wanna watch it more now that theyā€™ve got a proper seriouse Brit (ok speciffically scots) actor involved. Robert carlyle is imensely good.

I was really into SG-1, not so much Atlantis. Universe looks like it could be decent, but as said, much drama. But hey, thatā€™s what the kids are into these days.

SG-1 was great and just got better and better until the end IMO

Atlantis had its moments, but the Michael thing just got boring and I dunno why, but tough guy Ronan just got on my feckin wick :hmph:

Jury is still out on Universe, but from the trailers running on Sky atm, it looks rather meh, will give it a watch tho. I agree with Gom _Jabbar, having Robert Carlyle on the cast could be a stroke of genius

Main show Iā€™m looking forward to atm, is the new BSG Spinoff ā€˜Capricaā€™ next year, the pilot was pure win
